ICAN, ACCA, or CFA

When you graduate from school, especially when you read Accounting or Economics, Almost everybody pops the question,'Have you done ICAN?' , or ACCA?'. Come to think of it is that really necessary. not Minding the fact that some people were forced to read Accounting and don't have anything to do with it in their life paths. Some wish to be in the entertainment world, whilst others IT world. Is it necessary to do ICAN? Do you have passion for Accounting? Do you consider it as a career path? If so then Do ICAN. simple as it. But when you have a lot of other things that interest you more apart from Accounting, why do it? Please tell me
